## Title: Business Efficiency Officer - Internal Control & Audit

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Genesis Group in a Business Efficiency Officer position focused on internal control and audit functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general building upkeep including carpentry, painting, landscaping, and structural repairs (windows, doors)
  • Ensure optimal functionality of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Promptly address urgent maintenance requests while following safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate records, update service logs, and manage inventory of parts
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC, and electrical systems, including lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement
  • Diagnose and fix issues in plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC, and other equipment to minimize downtime
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities

Requirements

  • HND or BSc qualification
  • 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience

Essential Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Good communication and organizational skills
