We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Summary  Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings, planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities as well as increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. Authority Organizes marketing/sales meetings, authorizes sales and assents to receipts and quotes.  Responsibilities

  • Formulation of strategy 
  • Distribution channel analysis and development 
  • New product development planning and management 
  • Technology transfer, licensing, partnerships assessment and  development 
  • Marketing and advertising and promotion planning 
  • Sales organization planning and development 
  • Import/export development 
  • Business planning 
  • Launch and implementation 
  • If the business development job has direct-reporting staff then the above would tend to be managed via others, and the role would include people-management, recruitment, motivation, training and development staffing responsibilities 
  • Appropriate Administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison. 
  • Health and safety adherence 
  • Self-development and continuing personal development 
Report To  MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO AND OPERATIONS DIRECTOR Experience Must have an HND/bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration or Engineering/science; Must have 1 – 2 years’ extensive experience in  marketing, advertising, brand management, or sales. Membership of a professional organization will be preferred. Must have strong communication, sales, and presentation skills. They must be goal oriented, flexible, and creative under pressure - often while juggling several projects at once. Expert knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms is essential. They must have strong leadership skills and the ability to hire, train, and motivate team members. Should also have strong budgeting, Internet, and computer skills. Remunerations
  • N85,000.00 per month and 10% total sales commission.
  • Transportation allowance for day-to-day movement, calls and data recharge.
Conditions
  • Six months’ probation before confirmation and increase in remunerations. 
  • Work on monthly sales targets.
