## Title: Business Development Specialist

Job Summary

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company's presence across the logistics and delivery ecosystem. This role involves prospecting, developing strategic partnerships, converting leads, and managing client relationships to support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and target new business opportunities across SMEs, ecommerce platforms, corporate clients, and retail businesses
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activities
  • Generate high-quality leads through field marketing, online outreach, networking, and referrals

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Convert prospects into paying clients by effectively presenting logistics services
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned
  • Develop tailored proposals and negotiate service agreements

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and communication
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services where relevant

Partnerships & Expansion

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships that drive market visibility and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with ecommerce platforms, distributors, retailers, and corporate organizations

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare weekly reports on lead generation, conversions, pipeline status, and market feedback

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
  • Provide market insights to support product development and service improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
