Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and articulate recent graduate to join our team as a Business Development Officer. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building a career in business development. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and the ability to engage and negotiate with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities and prospective clients
• Assist in preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals to clients
• Initiate client interactions via calls, emails, and physical meetings to promote services
• Maintain a pipeline of potential business leads and follow up consistently
• Manage and update CRM tools and client records
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning
• Participate in the planning and execution of business development campaigns
• Attend client meetings, take minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items
• Prepare periodic reports and track KPIs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field
• Recent graduate with at least 1 year of relevant experience in sales, client engagement, marketing, or business development
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); fluent in English
• Strong ability to negotiate, persuade, and build relationships with prospects
• Confident, outgoing, and able to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn with willingness to take initiative
• Close proximity to the job location is required
