## Title: Business Development Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Officer to actively pursue new business acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling our financial and immigration investment products and services. You will be responsible for initiating, nurturing, and expanding new business relationships with a primary focus on driving sales for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers through various channels
  • Research and qualify leads to ensure they fit the target customer profile
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects
  • Plan and execute daily field sales calls
  • Maintain regular contact with prospects
  • Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of the company's products and services
  • Stay updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to address specific customer needs and concerns
  • Schedule meetings, presentations, or demonstrations to showcase product offerings
  • Report on sales performance and pipeline status
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all sales transactions
  • Attend to client enquiries and resolve queries promptly
  • Provide periodic reports as required
  • Perform additional functions as assigned by your direct supervisor

Professional Development

  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
  • Stay updated on new sales tools, techniques, and industry best practices
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience in a similar role
  • Age: 35 years and above

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

  • Excellent communication, selling, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of business development and sales success
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
