Job Summary
As a Business Development Officer, you will play a vital role in driving growth through marketing-led strategies, building strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships. You will design and execute initiatives that expand the company's impact and ensure services reach the right audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Opportunity Analysis
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging trends with a strong marketing focus
- Monitor the competitive landscape to inform growth strategies
Client Acquisition & Partnership Building
- Develop and implement client acquisition and retention strategies
- Engage potential clients via networking, outreach, and digital channels
- Identify, engage, and negotiate with potential partners to support business growth
Sales & Marketing Strategy
- Design and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to strengthen company visibility
- Track and report on client engagement and sales metrics weekly
- Support the launch of new products or services through effective go-to-market strategies
Project Management & Reporting
- Manage business development projects end-to-end, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Prepare reports on the effectiveness of business development and marketing efforts
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in business development with a strong marketing background
- Experience in a consulting environment is an added advantage
Core Competencies
- Strong marketing knowledge and practical experience (essential)
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
- Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing
- Project management skills
