Position Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Officer to spearhead our growth in the renewable energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of solar and energy storage solutions by building strategic partnerships with EPCs, distributors, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive deal-closer with a deep understanding of market trends and a passion for sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and expand market presence in solar and energy storage solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, EPCs, and corporate clients
- Develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to consistently achieve revenue targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to stay ahead of industry developments
Requirements
- Education: HND or B.Sc. in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales; experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Mindset: Goal-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
