Position Overview
ORIKI Group is seeking a proactive, results-driven Business Development Officer to secure B2B contracts across sectors such as hospitality, retail, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, persistent, and skilled in networking and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Proactively approach potential clients through visits, networking, referrals, and follow-ups
- Develop persuasive proposals and presentations to secure partnerships and contracts
- Track and report sales performance, pipeline, and market insights
- Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to inform strategy
Client Relationship and Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and renewals
- Follow up with clients consistently to drive upsells and long-term contracts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support
Performance & Sales Execution
- Work with a results-driven mindset, with earnings tied to performance-based incentives
- Execute sales strategies, including in-person business visits and persistent outreach, to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients
Client & Partner Communication
- Respond to client inquiries and provide necessary information or support
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and ensure seamless communication
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BA/BSc in Business Management or related field (postgraduate or professional qualification is a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, or Sales
- Experience in B2B client management and partnerships
