## Title: Business Development & Marketing Officer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team in a strategic business development and marketing position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate, implement, and oversee strategic plans to increase student enrollment at the school
  • Develop and coordinate all social media marketing strategies and platforms as well as advertising campaigns
  • Oversee the development and implementation of all PR strategies
  • Supervise all media and graphic-related activities of the school
  • Conduct market analysis internally and externally on a periodic basis to identify new trends, changes, and possible threats and opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activities to ensure the school remains competitive
  • Follow up with prospective parents and provide them with information needed to make enrollment decisions
  • Oversee the complete admission process from inquiry through student resumption
  • Arrange orientation programs and educational workshops for newly enrolled students

Education and Work Experience

  • First degree or equivalent in any discipline, preferably in a business-related field
  • Postgraduate or professional qualification in Marketing
  • Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in Marketing

Skills and Competencies

  • Holistic understanding of business operations, inter-relationships, and dependencies
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem analysis and solving abilities
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking and use of office productivity tools

Key Performance Indicators

  • Accuracy and timeliness of reports
  • Annual pupil and student net enrollment increase
  • Percentage improvement in school brand equity
  • Percentage reduction in marketing costs
  • Percentage of marketing goals met or exceeded during the year
  • Ratio of inquiries to enrollments
  • Increase in media presence
