Business Development Manager – Bakery Packaging Solutions at Ascentech Services Limited

About the Role

This is an opportunity to drive sales and market penetration of self-adhesive tapes (Bag Neck Sealing – BNS) and related bakery packaging products for an established company.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and market penetration of self-adhesive tapes (Bag Neck Sealing – BNS) and related bakery packaging products
• Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with dealers and distributors across Nigeria
• Conduct product trials with large bakeries, prepare detailed reports, and follow through on adoption
• Develop monthly and annual customer forecasts, sales targets, and product-specific budgets
• Prepare and submit daily call and activity reports to track progress
• Ensure timely collections of payments in collaboration with the customer service team
• Coordinate with customer service on order processing and approvals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the bakery materials and packaging sector (bread nylon, BNS tapes, etc.)
• Age range: 25–35 years
• Strong network with bakery material dealers and major bakeries

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong leadership and team management skills
