About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across key market segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes
• Monitor industry developments, customer needs, and emerging trends to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on new opportunities
• Develop and implement targeted lead generation strategies to identify and engage prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Utilize a combination of outbound prospecting, networking, and digital marketing tactics to generate leads and create sales opportunities
• Leverage existing networks and establish new connections to expand the company's reach and influence within the marketplace
• Identify new business opportunities and initiate business development activities
• Develop and manage key client relationships
• Manage and execute the business development strategy, implementing tactical plans to help meet and exceed organizational expectations
• Maintain a strong development pipeline according to targets and strategy
• Utilize existing client relationships to generate new business
• Keep up to date with financial markets daily
• Follow internal regulations and procedures
• Complete required training and development objectives within assigned timeframes
• Provide progress feedback to management

Required Qualifications

• University degree in a related field
• 3 - 10 years of relevant work experience
• Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager (logistics experience preferred)
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in relevant digital tools and platforms
