About the Role
Arit of Africa Limited is seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to drive business growth and achievement of strategic goals. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive sales strategies, building client relationships, and expanding market presence in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual sales strategy and business plan to drive business growth and achieve set goals, including increasing sales, market share, and profitability; cascade objectives to quarterly and monthly sales operations plans
- Establish close business relationships with clients and act as contract negotiator in transactions
- Develop integrated marketing strategies, product pricing, and sales plans
- Lead market research, market analysis, and competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities, and develop marketing plans and activities accordingly
- Develop the sales and marketing division's budget in collaboration with finance
- Monitor economic, industry, market, and regulatory trends; assess their potential impact on the business and advise management; develop complementary strategies or initiatives to strengthen the company's market position
- Develop strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of the company's brand
- Source and manage relationships with outsourced providers of marketing services; evaluate their effectiveness
- Lead negotiations for business deals and supply agreements
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Computer Science, or any other relevant discipline
- 7–10 years of experience in the ICT sector
- Experience selling in the Oil & Gas sector (required)
- Knowledge of selling enterprise solutions and/or infrastructure (advantageous)
