## Title: Business Development Manager
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Business Development Manager position.
Main Responsibilities
- Improve market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business contracts
- Lead the formulation, execution, and monitoring of the company's business development and market penetration strategies to enhance business growth
- Design and implement strategies to register and sustain the company with International Oil Companies as vendors and contractors
- Develop business dealings from DPR permits to NIPEX product codes documentation and source for jobs
- Proactively develop and nurture cordial relationships with government regulatory agencies (NUIMS/NAPIMS, NUPRC, NIMASA, NCDMB, etc.)
- Coordinate strategic planning and business development functions in areas with existing DPR permits, including Marine Vessel Supply & Operations and Offshore Operations Support Services
- Lead negotiations and close deals to secure profitable contracts
- Liaise with International Oil Companies and major oil companies to identify and execute profitable business opportunities
- Prepare all documentation necessary for requests for proposals (RFPs), expressions of interest (EOI), and invitations to tender (ITT)
- Gather market intelligence and provide updates on upcoming and ongoing key projects in the upstream oil and gas sector
- Identify emerging market opportunities and analyze industry trends
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities and partnership strategies
- Oversee business development projects from inception to completion
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Perform other functions as assigned by the Managing Director
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: First degree
- 6–8 years of experience in business development
