Business Development Intern (Corps Member) at Dominion Consulting

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and creative Business Development Intern to join our team in Abuja. This role is ideal for a driven individual who is passionate about business growth, client acquisition, and relationship management. You'll gain hands-on experience in professional communication, digital outreach, and strategic business development in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the business development team in identifying, prospecting, and converting leads into clients
• Conduct cold calling, cold emailing, and follow-up communications to generate business opportunities
• Assist with preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations
• Engage clients professionally across multiple communication channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, and meetings)
• Conduct research to identify potential markets and target audiences
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design business materials and digital content using Canva
• Manage reports, client databases, and schedules using Microsoft Office tools
• Participate in periodic in-person meetings and project assignments at the office

Requirements

• Current NYSC Corp Member serving in Abuja or a young graduate (OND / NCE / BSc) seeking hands-on business experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Canva or other design platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and comfortable initiating contact via cold calls and emails
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Strong interest in sales, client relations, and business growth

Benefits

• Base Salary: N60,000 - N80,000 monthly
• Performance Bonus: N20,000 – N40,000
