About the Role
An established company is recruiting for a Business Development Executive to drive growth and achieve corporate business and sales targets through strategic market development and tender management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure corporate business and sales targets are achieved
- Implement Business Development/Commercial Process Procedures
- Develop marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
- Conduct proactive marketing and consolidation of existing clients
- Identify and reach out to relevant job adverts and prospects
- Coordinate all tendering and bidding activities and ensure timely submission of bids
- Obtain and maintain updated information on all submitted pre-qualifications and tenders
- Maintain a comprehensive schedule of all jobs bid, pre-qualified prospects, and related activities
- Participate in site inspection visits and pre-bid/tender clarification meetings, submitting reports to management
- Ensure pre-qualification documents and bids are complete and comply with Invitation for Tender (ITT) submission requirements
- Prepare, package, and submit tenders and pre-qualification documents (technical tender, unpriced commercial tender, and commercial tender)
- Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies
- Identify and open new market opportunities for the company
- Ensure client acquisition and retention
- Provide monthly management updates on business prospects and tender/bid status
- Arrange business meetings and technical presentations with prospective clients
- Ensure all activities comply with company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
