About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Business Development Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will support the identification of new business opportunities, client engagement, and strategic growth initiatives across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids for new business
- Maintain and update client databases
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client communications
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to support business growth strategies
- Draft correspondence, contracts, and reports as needed
- Support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships
- Design, build, and maintain the company's social media presence
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations
Required Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good understanding of business development principles and sales processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
- Tech-savvy with social media management and digital communications skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
