## Title: Business Development Assistant

About the Role

BU Power Limited is seeking a qualified Business Development Assistant to support the growth and expansion of our business operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids for new business
  • Maintain and update client databases
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client communications
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to support business growth strategies
  • Draft correspondence, contracts, and reports as needed
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships
  • Design, build, and maintain the company's social media presence
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good understanding of business development principles and sales processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Social media management and digital communications skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
