## Title: Business Development and Marketing Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Business Development & Marketing Analyst to join our team at The Startup Place Limited in Lagos. In this hybrid role, you'll play a critical part in identifying growth opportunities, performing market analysis, and executing marketing strategies that support business development. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a doer, equally comfortable diving into data as they are building relationships and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partnerships
  • Analyze data including market trends, customer behavior, and competitor landscape to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives
  • Develop and maintain an actionable pipeline of leads and prospective clients
  • Create compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks to win new business
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement marketing campaigns (digital, content, events) that drive lead generation
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead conversion rates, campaign performance, and ROI
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients and partners to drive business expansion and retention
  • Prepare regular strategic reports and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, working closely with sales, operations, and product teams to align business development activities with company goals

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in business development, marketing, business analysis, or a related function
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in market research and data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
