## Title: Branch Manager – Microfinance

Role Summary

The Branch Manager will drive business growth, profitability, risk control, and operational excellence within the branch, while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute branch business strategy to meet loan, deposit, and revenue targets
  • Drive deposit mobilization, credit growth, and product cross-selling
  • Manage loan processing, monitoring, and recovery; maintain PAR ≤ 5%
  • Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, AML/CFT, and internal controls
  • Oversee daily branch operations and service delivery standards
  • Identify and mitigate credit and operational risks
  • Lead and develop staff; manage performance and discipline processes
  • Build customer and community partnerships to grow market share
  • Monitor branch performance and submit accurate periodic reports
  • Improve processes and support digital and operational transformation initiatives

Key Performance Indicators

  • ≥90% loan and deposit target achievement
  • PAR ≤ 5%
  • ≥85% customer retention
  • Profitability targets met
  • ≥95% recovery on performing loans
  • 100% compliance and reporting timeliness
  • ≥99% reporting accuracy
  • Strong audit and internal control ratings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
  • 5–7 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Solid knowledge of microfinance operations, credit, and regulation
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
