Branch Manager at GTI Group

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Branch Manager to lead lending operations and drive business growth at our Lagos branch. You will oversee loan product marketing, application processing, and portfolio management while supervising a team of loan officers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and market loan products; process loan applications for customers
• Oversee subordinates and evaluate loan processing to determine customers' financial eligibility and feasibility of loan repayment
• Determine applicable financial ratios and metrics; establish loan payment plans
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on bank policies and restrictions
• Conduct loan analysis by visiting clients' businesses and households
• Visit guarantors' businesses and employers; prepare comprehensive loan assessments according to bank credit procedures
• Present loan proposals to credit units and communicate credit decisions to clients
• Ensure timely loan repayments by contacting and visiting all relevant parties as needed
• Maintain high quality standards for the bank's credit portfolio
• Meet and exceed lending targets while actively growing the business portfolio and client base

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2–4 years of work experience in a microfinance bank
• 2 years of experience in a managerial position within banking
