An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Reports To: Hospitality Manager/Managing Director About the Role We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our lounge and café. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospitality or retail environment and be comfortable handling daily transaction records, vendor payments, staff expenses, and cash reconciliation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily sales, cash, POS, and transfer transactions
  • Reconcile daily takings with POS reports and bank deposits
  • Track inventory purchases and update cost records
  • Prepare and process supplier/vendor payments
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain petty cash records and staff expense reimbursements
  • Support payroll processing for lounge and café staff
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial ledgers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries for management
  • File and maintain financial documentation
  • Monitor compliance with financial procedures and policies
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar role
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or FMCG business is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field
Added Advantage
  • Knowledge of inventory and cost control
  • Experience with POS systems and daily sales reconciliation
  • Basic understanding of tax compliance and payroll

Remuneration N130,000 gross . Review to be discussed after probation.
