This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The Bodywork Specialist will perform repairs, replacements, and other alterations to the exteriors of motor vehicles. You will be responsible for determining damage in all classes of motor vehicles. Your skills include installing, setting up, and converting bodies and body components, as well as repairs, care, and protection thereof.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosis Work

• Perform systematic and professional damage diagnoses on accident vehicles and support in determining repair costs
• Perform structured diagnoses of body noise complaints
• Perform simple electrical diagnoses by reading out the fault memory via DAS
• Localize existing body leaks and determine their cause
• Determine the scope of required replacement parts and arrange orders in cooperation with the team

Repair Work

• Perform comprehensive straightening, separation, and joining operations according to specified methods
• Check and perform adjustments in line with diagnoses
• Perform adjustment and repair operations on seats and interior components
• Evaluate the extent of vehicle body damage and determine the best repair method
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with industry standards
• Communicate effectively with customers to keep them informed of progress and any changes in the repair plan
• Keep records of all work performed and parts used

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Industrial Maintenance or related field
• Minimum of 2–5 years of working experience as a Bodywork Specialist in the automobile industry
• Completion of training courses to become a Bodywork Specialist through basic and further qualification
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends
• Analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
