Biomedical Engineering at Medcourt Support Services Limited (MSS)

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our biomedical engineering team. This position is open for Junior Biomedical Engineer level and is not suitable for interns.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and calibrate biomedical equipment, including autoclaves, suction machines, monitors, and diagnostic devices
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure all medical devices comply with safety and performance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide technical support and training on the proper use and care of equipment
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance
• Stay updated on the latest developments in biomedical engineering and recommend upgrades or new equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols for medical equipment management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing medical equipment
• Strong knowledge of medical devices, including autoclaves, suction machines, and other critical care equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software
• Additional certifications in biomedical engineering or related fields
