Role Summary The Barman will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. The role includes interacting with customers, maintaining a clean and organised bar, and ensuring an excellent guest experience at all times. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes and customer requests
  • Welcome and engage guests at the bar in a polite and professional manner
  • Take and process drink orders accurately
  • Mix cocktails, mocktails, and speciality beverages where applicable
  • Maintain stock levels of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies
  • Keep the bar area clean, tidy, and properly sanitised at all times
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
  • Check IDs where required and comply with alcohol service regulations
  • Assist with bar opening and closing duties
  • Work closely with waitstaff and kitchen staff to support smooth service
  • Handle guest complaints politely and escalate when necessary
Required Qualifications: & Experience
  • Previous experience as a bartender or bar assistant is an advantage
  • Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and presentation preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and fluently
  • Basic math skills for handling payments
  • POS experience is an added advantage
