An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to lead and develop a high-performing banking team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Business Banking Officers sourcing and growing SME and corporate clients
• Drive loan portfolio growth through tailored lending solutions for traders, market associations, and SMEs
• Cultivate strong relationships with market leaders, associations, and unions to expand market penetration
• Monitor portfolio quality, ensure repayment discipline, and maintain credit compliance
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to exceed targets
• Represent the bank in market forums and promote financial inclusion

Requirements

• BSc / HND in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in business or SME banking with proven lending expertise
• In-depth knowledge of Lagos Island to Yaba markets
• Strong credit analysis, lending, and portfolio management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve business growth targets
