About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Tulips and Lilies Confectionery as a Bakery Supervisor in Bodija, Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
• Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
• Plan, schedule and supervise bakery production, shipping and cleaning activities to the highest safety and sanitation standards
• Supervise, evaluate, train and schedule the work of bakery staff
• Manage staff to increase productivity
• Enforce and implement disciplinary measures as stated in the staff handbook
• Consolidate product orders from users and ensure proper processing
• Ensure the proper use and care of highly specialized production equipment by staff
• Ensure adherence to policies and standard operating procedures by all bakery staff
• Conduct quality control checks before, during and after every step of the production process
• Minimize waste of resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or equivalent qualification
• Experience in handling people and operations within a fast-growing organization
• Strategic planning and business development experience
• Proven ability to plan, organize and implement activities
