About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Backend Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems that power our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that deliver real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems, APIs, and services
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Implement best practices in software development, testing, and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or Software Developer
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, PHP, .NET)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
