Backend Developer at SignalADoc Limited

About the Role

We are looking for a backend developer who is passionate about backend technologies to join our dynamic and expanding team. As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate with our team of developers, designers, and product managers to create applications that are innovative, user-friendly, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to define and implement new features
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend solutions
• Implement server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions to support frontend functionalities
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces built with React and React Native
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, optimize performance, and address scalability challenges
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in backend development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Backend Developer
• Solid understanding of backend technologies: JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, and Laravel
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and integration with frontend frameworks (React)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry trends
