Auto Workshop Supervisor

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: The Workshop Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality workmanship, and timely service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills to manage technicians, coordinate jobs, and maintain a safe, productive workshop environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all workshop staff, including junior, mid-level, and senior technicians.

• Monitor job schedules and allocate work efficiently to meet daily and weekly service targets.

• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet quality and safety standards.

• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles in the workshop to identify issues and confirm work completion.

• Maintain accurate records of jobs, parts used, and labor hours for reporting purposes.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to enhance skill levels and performance.

• Enforce workshop safety protocols, cleanliness, and organization.

• Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, and management to resolve queries or issues promptly.

• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables, coordinating with the storekeeper for timely replenishment.

• Implement and monitor workshop processes to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.

Required Qualifications: and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automotive workshop, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and diagnostics.
