## Title: Associate Professor in Medical Microbiology

About the Position

State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS) is seeking a qualified Associate Professor in Medical Microbiology to join our academic faculty.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. Degree or Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
Minimum of twenty (20) published journal articles, with at least three (3) in impact factor-rated journals
Previous experience as a Senior Lecturer in a recognized degree-awarding institution
Demonstrated ability to supervise postgraduate research, with successful supervision of at least two Master's degree students
