Position Overview

Word of Faith Group of Schools in Abuja, Nigeria is seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher for the Nursery School.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Assist pupils with learning tasks, play-based activities, and daily routines
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Observe pupils and report learning progress or concerns to the class teacher
• Supervise pupils during breaks, playtime, and transitions
• Assist with classroom organization, learning materials, and displays
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and moral development

Requirements

• Minimum of NCE or relevant early childhood qualification
• Experience working with young children (advantageous)
• Patience, creativity, and good communication skills
• Love for children and ability to work as part of a team
