## Title: Assistant Marketing Manager

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in the energy sector. You will support business development, marketing, and sales operations for CNG supply across Nigeria, working across the Asaba, Onitsha, and Enugu regions.

Business Development Support

  • Identify potential industrial, commercial, and fleet customers for CNG supply across Nigeria
  • Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals and presentations for prospective clients
  • Conduct preliminary site assessments and coordinate with technical teams for feasibility studies
  • Follow up with clients on proposals, quotations, and supply agreements to close deals
  • Support in onboarding new customers and ensuring smooth start-up of CNG deliveries

Marketing & Promotion

  • Support in developing marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional materials for CNG adoption
  • Maintain a strong database of potential customers segmented by industry, location, and fuel type
  • Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and product demonstrations to generate leads
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence including competitor pricing, customer fuel patterns, and policy updates
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to promote CNG business

Sales & Coordination

  • Monitor daily and monthly sales performance of industrial and retail customers
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely gas delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Track and report customer consumption patterns, complaints, and service feedback
  • Ensure proper documentation for sales contracts, purchase orders, and invoices
  • Maintain close coordination with accounts for billing, reconciliation, and payment follow-ups

Reporting & Systems

  • Prepare weekly and monthly marketing performance reports
  • Update CRM and sales trackers with lead status, prospects, and pipeline updates

Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to maintain reports
