Job Summary
We are a manufacturing plant located in Ogijo, Ogun, seeking a motivated Assistant HR Manager. The ideal candidate must have experience working in the manufacturing sector and managing manpower supplier vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and onboarding: Assisting with posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring new hires complete necessary paperwork
- Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, often using HR software or databases, and ensuring confidentiality
- Payroll and benefits: Supporting payroll processing by verifying time records and assisting with the administration of employee benefits programs
- Compliance: Helping to ensure the organization complies with labor laws and employment regulations, including updating HR policies and assisting with audits
- Employee support: Serving as a point of contact for employee questions about HR policies, benefits, and other workplace concerns
- Training and development: Coordinating training sessions, tracking participation, and ensuring training materials are current
- Reporting: Assisting with the generation of HR reports on metrics such as turnover rates and recruitment trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources
- Proven experience working in the manufacturing sector
- Experience managing manpower suppliers and vendors
- Professional certifications in HR (preferred)
Salary
₦200,000 - ₦250,000 per month
