## Title: Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and managing dealer/distributor networks within the assigned territory. The role involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, leading a sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with the company's goals within the automobile sector.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for vehicles, spare parts, and accessories
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and dealer networks
  • Implement sales strategies and campaigns to increase brand presence and market penetration
  • Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, and marketing strategies to maintain market competitiveness

Dealer/Channel Management

  • Manage existing dealers and appoint new dealers in the assigned area
  • Ensure dealers adhere to company standards for sales, service, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular visits to dealers for performance reviews and sales support
  • Support dealers with inventory planning, retail financing, and promotional activities

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Supervise and motivate Territory Sales Executives and Dealer Sales Consultants
  • Set clear sales objectives and performance metrics for the team
  • Conduct training, coaching, and performance reviews to enhance sales productivity

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient complaint handling and after-sales follow-up
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, fleet owners, and corporate clients

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports
  • Analyze sales data and recommend corrective actions for underperforming markets or dealers
