Position Summary

Responsible for the development, promotion, and implementation of the technical aspects of Power Systems business.

Main Responsibilities

• Engage in negotiating Power Systems product sales into high-valued projects by highlighting Power Systems technical capabilities
• Provide professional technical inputs to assist in achieving Power Systems sales targets
• Project Power Systems as a centre of excellence, adding value to the business and benefits to customers
• Disseminate technical advice to all categories of Power Systems customers, including:
  • Assessing present load requirements
  • Forecasting expansion needs
  • Conducting genset site surveys
  • Sizing the best genset to meet load demand
  • Designing appropriate power distribution systems
  • Managing final purchase, installation, and commissioning
• Prepare and submit technical quotations for Power Systems products and installation requirements
• Supervise installations of Power Systems products to ensure they meet international standards and specifications
• Inform potential customers of Power Systems product range and highlight complete product support packages
• Provide technical inputs to support the Regional Sales force in Power Systems product sales initiatives
• Liaise with Field Service representatives to initiate Contract Service Maintenance agreements and execute them upon signing
• Effectively liaise with the Equipment Operations section of Central Inventory Control (CIC) to arrange delivery of purchased Power Systems products to customer sites and oversee commissioning in conjunction with Field Service Representatives
