About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer with HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) expertise to support our healthcare facility. This role combines administrative management with specialized health insurance billing and claims processing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning
- Provide administrative and clerical support to executives and staff members
- Handle scheduling of meetings and manage correspondence
- Maintain filing systems and organize office documentation
- Order and manage office supplies
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide reception support
- Prepare and submit HMO bills and claims accurately and on schedule
- Review and reconcile HMO payments, rejections, and outstanding balances
- Liaise with HMO representatives to resolve discrepancies and disputes
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated multitasking capabilities
- Proficiency in office software and applications
- Experience with HMO billing and claims processing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare environment
