Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and qualified Accounts Officer to join our team at KAAF Specialist Hospital. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in managing the hospital's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage budgets
• Participate in audit activities
• Monitor and track financial transactions
• Post standard journal entries
• Manage and reconcile Health Management Organization (HMO) claims and receivables
• Reconcile payables and bank activities
• Serve as primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners to ensure prompt and accurate payments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting or Finance
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Proven experience in HMO claims management, reconciliation, and liaison within a healthcare setting
