About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join our accounting team. In this role, you will manage financial records, customer accounts, and accounting operations while ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain monthly customer account details
• Manage the accounts receivable ledger and maintain organized files
• Maintain the billing system and generate invoices for clients
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and investigate customer queries, complaints, and inquiries
• Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Communicate with clients and realtors via phone, email, and in-person meetings
• Collect and prepare monthly metrics including total cash inflow, expected customer payments, and outstanding amounts based on payment plans
• Issue and post all client receipts into SAGE Accounting Software and ensure continuous account updates
• Update client accounts in SAGE Accounting Software based on payments received
• Process payment receipts and invoices
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets with current information
• Request payments and arrange payment plans with clients, realtors, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with Land Assist on client management and documentation
• Prepare and update cash flow statements
• Assist with payment processing for statutory payments including NSITF, ITF, and Land Use Charge
• Post transactions on the expenses side of SAGE ONE accounting software
• Handle bank instructions, reference letters, and bank drafts for payment processing
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Perform additional administrative and accounting functions as assigned to ensure excellent service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc) in Accounting
