This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Document and Report on all financial transactions of the company.
  • Effectively manage Company’s cash flow and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Analyze/summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other key management reports.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist in processing vendor invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Accounts Receivable: Support in invoicing clients for services rendered. Assist in monitoring accounts receivable balances and following up on overdue payments.
  • General Ledger Entries: Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Financial Reporting Assistance: Support in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing variance analysis reports.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support in providing documentation and information for internal and external audits.
  • Taxation Support: Aid in gathering information and preparing documentation for tax filings and corporate income tax returns.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and accurate forecasting of costs and revenues.
  • Track project expenditures, ensuring they are within the approved budget and that any variances are identified and investigated. Implement cost-control measures to optimize project efficiency.
  • Track and report on capital expenditures associated with projects, ensuring that CAPEX is within approved limits and accurately reflected in financial statements
  • Prepare monthly financial report to Management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive company financial information with discretion.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Possession of a relevant professional certification – ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in project accounting, financial planning, budgeting, preferably in an architectural or construction company.
