Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant Officer to join our team at Odixcity Consulting in Lagos, Nigeria. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Handle general ledger entries and journal postings
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Record, prepare and analyze daily financial transactions
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls
• Support audit and financial reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as an accountant
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the preparation of the ledger and final accounts
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage)
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an advantage
