Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join our dynamic, expanding team on a 3-month contract basis.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of setting up effective accounting processes. Prior experience in supporting startups will be a strong advantage. Due to the nature of the role, proximity to our office location in Ikeja, Lagos State is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including payables, receivables, and payroll
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reports
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and compliance with statutory and tax obligations
• Set up or strengthen accounting systems and controls suitable for a growing business
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Prior experience working with startups or setting up accounting processes (highly desirable)
• Residence within close proximity to the office in Ikeja, Lagos State
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
