About the Role

Rich-Rotoye Consulting (Olaniyi Titiloye & Co) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Accountant for the position of Head of Accounts. You will work with a client in the Real Estate and Construction sector, managing all financial transactions and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is crucial for maintaining financial records, analysing financial data, and providing valuable insights to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits
• Provide financial reports and insights to management in a clear and concise manner
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting practices

Required Qualifications & Experience

• HND or BSc in Accounting
• Proven work experience of 3–5 years as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• ICAN paper passes (advantageous)

Lagos, Nigeria. Preference will be given to candidates with residency in Lekki, Ikate, Jakande, Ajah, and their surrounding areas.
