Accountant at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic. In this position, you will manage financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support our healthcare provider's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions and bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support budget preparation and monitoring
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with payroll processing
• Prepare tax documentation and compliance reports
• Support internal and external audit processes

Minimum Qualifications

• OND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience
• Part qualification in ICAN/ANAN
• Experience with hospital billing and HMO reconciliations
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Understanding of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations
