Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join Intavalto's growing team. In this role, you will help oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with Nigeria's tax laws. You'll also support strategic decision-making by creating clear financial reports and presentations that help shape our investments in sustainable energy and smart home infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Update salary structures in line with the company's latest compensation review
• Ensure payroll calculations comply with Nigerian tax regulations, including PAYE and all statutory deductions
• Set up and manage staff pension deductions in accordance with the Pension Reform Act
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and submit statutory filings to tax authorities and pension fund administrators
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation
• Track and analyse financial data from online channels and advise management on trends and risks
• Support external audits with necessary reports and documentation

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as ICAN or ACCA or equivalent (an advantage)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, with hands-on payroll management
• Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, pensions, and statutory payroll deductions
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
