About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join Iknorbert Communications Limited in Lagos. This is an urgent opening for a professional to manage our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements
• Prepare and file tax returns and provide tax planning services in accordance with current legislation
• Conduct internal audits, cooperate with external auditors, and ensure compliance with government regulations and accounting standards
• Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and risk analysis
• Document and maintain accurate financial transactions, including processing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain complete financial records
• Develop, review, and manage budgets for the organization
• Oversee the payroll process and ensure accurate expense tracking
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to management on business decisions to improve revenue and profitability

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc or HND in Accounting or Business Administration
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Busy Accounting Software)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
