A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Role Description
  • This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
  • The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring budgets, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, assisting with audits, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years accounting experience.
  • Skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management
  • Experience with financial software and tools such as Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and audit preparation processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is a must
  • Prior experience in the retail or toy industry is a plus
