We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and oversee payroll administration.
  • The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely salary payments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts in line with accounting standards
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including salary computation, deductions, allowances, and approvals
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of staff salaries and wages
  • Maintain payroll records and staff salary schedules with strict confidentiality
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts regularly
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and audit requirements
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required
Required Qualifications: & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 5–10 years relevant accounting experience
  • Proven experience in payroll administration
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) is an added advantage or in view
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and payroll regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
