Accountant - Ascentech Services Limited, Lagos

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Objective: Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and Nigerian financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports, management accounts, and audit documentation

• Maintain accounting records, general ledger, and fixed assets register

• Perform weekly bank reconciliations and manage payables/receivables

• Manage supplier and staff payments

• Support budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial analysis

• Assist with tax filings and statutory compliance

• Liaise with banks and external financial stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years’ accounting experience

• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws is an advantage

• ICAN certification is an added advantage
