Accountant - YSG Chicken Co Nig Ltd, Lagos

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. ROLE OVERVIEW: We’re looking for a detail-oriented, disciplined, and trustworthy Accountant to manage YSG Chicken’s financial records and ensure accurate reporting. You will oversee daily accounting operations, monitor cash flow, manage expenses, and provide financial insights that support smart business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records (sales, expenses, purchases, payroll, inventory)

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management

• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Oversee branch financial compliance and internal controls

• Prepare budgets and track performance against financial targets

• Ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance

• Support management with financial analysis and cost control strategies

• Conduct periodic stock and financial audits

Requirements:

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5 years experience in accounting (experience in food/FMCG business is an advantage)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
