A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent.
Position Overview:
- We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven account personnel to join our growing team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, securing, and maintaining business, as well as developing and managing relationships with existing clients/vendors.
- The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
- Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Report to management regarding the finances of the establishment.
- Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
- Develop, implement, modify and document record-keeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Develop, maintain and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their activities.
- A B.Sc. in Accounting with a Second Class Upper (2.1) Degree or a related field, ICAN is an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years of Accounting experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPI's.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, stong inExcel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Strategies & Analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
